District Trustee Board

Philip has been part of Scouting for over three decades, one of these he served as District Commissioner for a neighbouring district. With his wealth of knowledge and this experience he has stepped up to help ensure the District is running to the best of it’s ability as well as taking a lead on the recruitment of more adults. A holder of the Award of Merit, he also has experience of many roles within the Scouting Movement.

As District Youth Lead, Adam is responsible for ensuring Scouting in our District is listening to the views of our young people from Squirrel Scouts (aged 4-6) to our Explorer Scouts (aged 14-18). Having only just turned 18 in 2022, Adam has already had many adventures in this role, including being invited to participate in the King’s Coronation alongside other Scouts across the United Kingdom.

Sarah has been involved in Scouting for five years, serving as an Assistant Section Leader and valuable member of our District Training Team. Recently she decided to take on the role of District Treasurer and is responsible for providing sound financial administration, support and information to the District Trustee Board.

Maxine has recently received her five year service award. During this time she has been a section leader before joining the District Trustee Board.

Jan has over 30 years of Scouting experience and is a holder of the Silver Acorn Award which is over 20 years of outstanding service. She is an Akela within the District and has previously served as the Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs in the District for over a decade.

Ollie has over 10 years service in Bognor District. As well as being a trustee he is also the Scout Active Support Manager that looks after some of our District Sites. He also has had roles with the Cub Scout Section and Explorer Scout Section.
